From March 6th to 10th, 2024, we once again had the honor of representing ourselves and street art culture at Spring Basel. With our merchandise stand and the art market, at which various artists were represented, we brought hip-hop flair and cultural diversity into the exhibition hall.
Our program included live painting, graffiti and breakdance workshops, and DJ sets on the weekend. With an included bar, we had dancing guests until late in the evening. Again, we had a growing gallery with the works of the participating artists. This year we had the Hip-Hop Zoo Basel on board, who were responsible for breakdance and hip-hop workshops and brought a lot of atmosphere. The highlight for us was the participating artists, dancers and the growing audience! It's always a pleasure to see professionals at work. Among others:

Brewery Music Session
Brewery Music Session (09.09.2023)
The unique location of the Birtel Fahrbar train carriage was ideal for a small event for and with friends! As part of the "Brewery Music Session", we, the Verein Urbane Kunst Basel, organised a live painting session at the 09. September 2023. The environment with the old train wagon, on the unused tracks in the industrial area Dreispitz, complemented perfectly with graffiti.
Usual suspects like; Bust, Ivandfrei, Desq91, SonicOne, Ownt.One, Niro, Shez, Crbz were part of the event. Many thanks to you for your commitment and the best company! Many thanks for the platform, support with the organisation, drinks and food to the Birtel team!

Urban HeArt 2023 (10/11. 6. 2023)
...was a complete success in every respect! With the fifth edition of this event, we tried to counteract the deplorable state of the male-dominated and homophobic graffiti and street art scene. With about 45% of male artists, we unfortunately didn't quite reach our goal, but we are proud to have put together such a diverse line-up. With all the different artists, characters and styles it turned out to be a very colourful, inspiring and exhausting weekend, full of fun and joy with new and old friends! Thank you for your presence, your energy and for coming all the way to participate in this event!
This year we would like to thank Bell AG and all the other sponsors, especially the MS Evolutie team, who made our welcome event possible! Special thanks also go to Belton Molotow and Bosshard AG Basel without whose material sponsoring this event would not have been possible!

From 22nd to 26th March 2023 we had the honour to represent ourselves and the street art culture at Spring Basel. We were represented by a merchandise booth, live paintings, workshops and a gallery. Our growing gallery with the works of the participating artists was an absolute eye-catcher and it was great fun to see it grow. The highlight for us was the participating artists and their works! Always a pleasure to see professionals at work. Among others:

Thank you for your energy and performance! Although we were unfortunately not able to serve everyone at our highly frequented workshops, we were able to inspire young and old. The competences of the fair team supported us to a great extent and the cooperation was a real pleasure. From our point of view a successful event. At this point, thank you and see you another time!
Urban Heart Basel 2022
URBAN HEART BASEL – FOR THE FOURTH TIME.
From June 17 to 19, 2022, we hijacked the Rhine ship MS Evolutie for the fourth edition of Urban Heart Basel and offered you an insight into the art forms of graffiti and street art. The generous space in the belly of the MS Evolutie served us as a floating gallery, and at the same time the ship's sides were painted with work of art.
During Art Basel we docked at a different pier on the Rhine every day.
On deck we offered live painting events, where the creation of a painting could be witnessed. In addition to the main project MS Evolutie (ms-evolutie.ch) we realized different live paintings at various locations in the city of Basel. PDF-Flyer for download

Change of Colours Basel 2020 – creation of the biggest mural of Switzerland
On August 20 to 30, an urban art event of outstanding quality has taken place at Bell Schweiz AG at Neudorfstrasse in Basel. The internationally renowned street artists Mr. Cenz (UK), Bane & Chromeo (CH) and Bust (CH) created three large scale murals on a 800m2 wall.
With thirty more artists will paint additional works around the Bell site on a wall length of over 200 meters.
All in all, 1700 square meters of wall was painted, which sets a Swiss record.
